The grade 2/3/4s are learning to play the recorder. We practice once a week and the students are welcome to bring their recorders home to practice as well. We have only been playing for a few weeks, but the students are making wonderful progress and wanted to share a short video clip with you.

So far they have learned about quarter notes and half notes, and quarter rests and half rests. They have learned to play three notes and are learning how to read music.
