On Friday, Patrick Donaghy from the Regional District visited our school. Patrick spoke to us about our recycling depot and 7 Mile Landfill. We learned how we can help by reducing, reusing, and recycling. We also learned about what happens to the garbage that goes into the landfill and what they are trying to do to lessen the impact on the environment.

After lunch the whole school walked down to the recycling depot where Patrick, Jodie, and Tyler were waiting to give us a tour. We learned about all the different things that can be recycled.
