Today we used straws and plasticine to build polygons and 3D solids. The students worked in teams to complete each challenge. They had a lot of fun and showed that they know a lot about geometry!

I enjoyed seeing that your class is studying the same topic in math we are! We used toothpicks and marshmellows to construct 3-d shapes. Also, it looks like Friday at 2:30 EST is a great time to Skype. I am waiting the final approval to allow video streaming. I should know by tomorrow! Please look for an email from me. ~Mrs. Yammine
I enjoyed seeing your class construct polygons and 3-d shapes. The music in your video was very fitting! ~Mrs. Yammine and the SuperSTARs
We made 3D shapes too, but we used boxes. It was fun because we made cubes and prisms.

Dear Luka,
Thank you so much for leaving us a comment on our blog! The students in our class really loved making 3D solids too. What was your favourite solid to make?

Dear class
What I liked making the most is a rectangular prism.
