Hi Jonathan, you do have a lot of information about the spotted owl. In New Zealand we have one native owl. Its European name is Morepork (because of the sound of its call) and in Maori it is known as Ruru. There used to be another native New Zealand owl called the laughing owl but it became extinct in the 19th century.
The Spotted Owl sounds very cool .
I liked the owls colour.
Your glogster is very cool.
Does the Owl have any other colours.
It looks like it has big clows.
We are learning a lot about animals from Canada from your class! It is very cool that you are teaching us! Can’t wait for the next one.

Dear Mrs Mckenzie and B4
I have never heard of the Morepork Owl, but I have heard of the Laughing Owl. It’s sad that it got extinct in the 19 century.
