Happy Halloween…a little late

The students had a great time on Halloween and we thought that we would share a few photos.

  1. Hello Mrs. Watson and class,

While Halloween Trick or Treating is not so big in Australia, there are children who visit houses they know. My home is one of them. This year over 60 children visited but most didn’t have the incredible costumes you have.

The Friday before Halloween I was a supervisor at a Police & Citizens Youth Club Halloween Disco for local children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Over 160 children were in costume and having fun.

I think one of their favourite activities apart from dancing was when a suprvisor called, “Trick or Treat.”

Chidlren would line up and select a treat from small buckets held by a supervisor. We had a “Trick or Treat” about every 15 minutes.

Trick or Treating might not be big in Australia but it is getting a growing following.

Happy Halloween! We now have to wait until October 31, 2017 for our next.
