Hello Mrs. Watson’s K/1/2/3 Class,
Your costumes are all wonderful. I have seen Halloween grown in my town over the last ten years. This year I had 48 visitors come to the door in costumes. I have a sign up to say it is okay to visit here for Halloween. When I was your age I didn’t know anything about Halloween as it wasn’t celebrated in Australia back then.
Dear Mr Mannell,
Thanks for the comment. I cant believe how many visitors you got. I only got 5 visitors so we have a lot of candy left. Do you have a lot of candy left? I have two bowls foll because I only got 5 visitors. I was going to get Brookylnn, but I didn’t because I was going to the fireworks.
I am sorry it has taken so long to reply to your comments. As well as commenting on blogs, I make DVDs and CDs for schools and community groups in my area. For the last one to two weeks I have been very busy making a DVD and 2 CDs for a community choir. It can be about 150 hours work from the time I film them until I am distributing the sets of disks. Now the main work is over, I am catching up on commenting. 🙂
Jacob – No one of my visitors thought to wear a soldier costume this year. It’s an interesting idea. 🙂
Jorja – I had about the same amount of candy left as you. As well as preparing treats for those who wear costumes, I also keep some candy for those who come without costumes, only some makeup. This year everyone was wearing a costume so I will be donating the left over candy to a holiday vacation care group I help. For children in my state, the school year ends on December 21.
Wow – It looks like your class has been having tons of fun! I loved seeing all your great costumes, the pumpkin carving activity, and the Halloween Crafts! Well done everyone, and keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing what you do next…
