A few days ago we received a wonderful surprise in the mail from our Quad Blogging buddies in Mrs. Ranney’s class. They sent us a beautiful book called, G is for Golden: A California Alphabet by David Domeniconi and Pam Carroll.

We loved the poems, amazing artwork, and the cool facts we could learn about California. We especially liked the pages about Alcatraz and Death Valley. We also thought it was cool that we both have a Chinatown.

We know Mrs. Ranney and her students are on summer break already and we hope they are all having a fantastic holiday!
