Monday was a district in-service day for teachers and support staff. The keynote address was given by Martin LeBlanc who is the
National Youth Education Director of the Sierra Club and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Children and Nature Network. He talked to us about the importance of connecting children and nature. We talked a lot about the importance of getting outside to explore, play, and enjoy nature.

In the afternoon session Mr. Leblanc asked us to share our favourite place to be outside. I hope you will share yours too!
