UVIC Students from the Science Venture program visited our school again this year. Meera and Morgan presented workshops to the K-3s and the 4-7s. The primary workshop was called Force and Motion and the intermediate workshop was all about weather.
In our class we went on a force and motion picnic, and learned all about forces and friction. The students had fun exploring the friction boards and they all got to make helicopters to take home.
