Happy Halloween!

We had a hauntingly good day Friday celebrating Halloween. The students were treated to a tour through a spooky haunted house created by the intermediate class and a costume parade after lunch.

I hope everyone has a safe and spooky Halloween!

  1. Dear Mrs. W and the 2/3’s,

I enjoyed watching the slideshow of your spooky Friday. It certainly looked like everyone had a great day. Your costumes were very impressive!

On Friday we had Book Character Day where the students got to dress up as a favorite character from a book that they have read. It was a lot of fun.

It seems like you celebrate Halloween in a similar way to us in America. Do you also carve jack-o-lanterns? Some of our blogging buddies in Australia and New Zealand don’t have the same activities that we do for Halloween, but I’m sure they also have holidays that we don’t.

    Happy Halloween!

  2. Dear Mrs Watson and the 2/3s,

What great Halloween costumes you all had! As you probably know, we don’t really celebrate Halloween in Australia, so I always enjoy hearing what Americans and Canadians do to celebrate this special event. I did have one little trick or treater on Sunday, and lucky I found a lolly pop for her!

It looks like you all had a great and spooky Halloween! 🙂

    • Dear Miss Jordan,

We found it really interesting that you don’t really celebrate Halloween in Australia. WE wonder what holidays you celebrate that we might not?
