Today in art we talked about line and colour. We tried a lesson from Art Lessons for Kids. The students loved mixing colours last week and so they were very excited to have another chance to play with colour. They did a fantastic job experimenting with different types of lines and mixed some beautiful colours. Take a look at our artists in action!

Your PhotoPeach is Awesome! I think you would of had a Great time learning about art. In term 1 and 2 we did art and it was very fun! We did some art about Aboriginals. We made Boomerangs and decorated them.
Here are some colours that you mix to make other colours:
Red and blue makes purple
Blue and yellow makes green
Dark blue and white makes light blue
Red and white makes pink
Red and yellow makes orange
Can you think of any others?

This week we are going to learn about shades and tints (adding black and white to colours). Do you have a favourite colour?

I was bored so I decided to write a comment on your blog. My hobby is going to be doing Art. I love Art but we don’t do it at school now. What are Tints? I know what shades are and it sounds like it will be a lot of fun to do it!
