Over the past year we have had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other classes from around the world. Our blog has allowed us to open the doors of our classroom and flatten our classroom walls. Today we are all excited to be starting a Quad Blogging project with three other classes from other parts of the world.
Quad Blogging was first thought of by Mr. Mitchell. It is where four classes form a partnership and spend time getting to know each other better through their blogs. Each class has a week to be featured and the other classes spend some time visiting that blog to learn more about that class, their school, and their community.
We will be teaming up with three other classes, starting on Monday, March 7th.

Here is the schedule for our Quad Blogging:
* March 7th – March 13th – Mrs. Ranney’s Class Blog (California, USA)
* March 14th – March 20th – Mr. Avery’s Classroom Blog (Massachusetts, USA)
* March 28th – April 3rd – 3DD Class Blog (Leopold, Australia)
* April 4th – April 10th – Mrs. Watson’s 2/3 Class (British Columbia, Canada)
This first week, we’ll be leaving comments for Mrs. Ranney’s Class. Make sure to leave quality comments. Proofread for proper capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. Don’t forget to let them know you’re from Mrs. Watson’s Class!

Quad blogging is such a great idea! We’re going to be part of one in April with Mr E, who sent you the postcard from England, a class in Texas and another school we don’t know the name of yet. We’ll be watching what you do so we can learn some lessons. 🙂
Mrs. Watson and 2/3s,
We’re really looking forward to Quad Blogging with you! We can’t wait to get to know each of the classes better. You can expect a lot of questions about living on an island when it’s your week! 🙂
We’ll be talking with all of you soon!

Hi Mrs Watson and 2/3s
I know you will really enjoy quad-blogging with the other classes.
I think your map showing the locations of the classes is a great idea.
Be prepared to get a lot of comments!
